Facebook Advertising Case Study

Wedding Car Hire Galway and Roscommon

Last week I delivered a Facebook for Business Course with Roscommon County Enterprise Board. One of the course participants Pat Smyth of Smyths Wedding Car Hire Roscommon and Galway set up 4 Facebook ads.

Wedding car hire in Galway is a key market for Pat and Facebook Ads allows him to target the Galway market specifically. Not only that but Facebook allows targetting based on martial status, in this case ‘Engaged‘.

The 4 ads collectively had a total number of impressions of 270,060 which cost €54. The total number of clicks was 110 which is a standard click through rate (CTR) of 0.04%.

For one ad Pat choose Females aged between 24 and 38, lived in a 10 mile radius of Galway and engaged. Pat received a number of enquiries from the ad but more importantly confirmed 2 bookings.

Pat also received a booking  from another ad where he changed the location to market to a different area that he services.

What do you think of these numbers in terms of success and value for money?  Have you tried Facebook ads for your business and did they work?
